SGC Elections


It is SGC elections season! Elections will take place March 11th- March 18th for parent/guardian representatives and teacher representatives.  Each candidate has prepared a statement introducing him/herself and explaining why s/he wants to serve on the Council. Please click here to view the candidate declaration statements. 

Hard copies of the candidate statements are available in the main office for your viewing as well.   Each parent will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to vote in this year's election.  Please make sure the school has your correct email address on file.

Georgia Milestones Assessment Resources


Attention 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Parents: All students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will take the Georgia Milestones Assessment in the spring. Please mark your calendars and try to have your student at school on the days they will test. The dates for each grade level are:

3rd Grade: April 15 - 19 
4th Grade: May 6 - 10 
5th Grade: April 15 – 23 

Teachers are working hard to prepare students and may provide at home practice opportunities as well. Click here for resources for your information about the test. Students may also want to review the formatting of the test by visiting: http://www.gaexperienceonline.com/ (USE CHROME)

Pre-K Registration 2019-2020


Pre-K Registration will take place Wednesday, March 27, 2019 (8am-4pm) and Thursday, March 28, 2019 (8am-7pm) in Room A145. The lottery drawing will take place Friday, March 29, 2019 (1pm) Room A145. 

Beginning March 1, 2019, you may pick up the Pre-K packet from Findley Oaks and return completed packet when you come for registration.

K-5 Registration 2019-2020


Only parents of NEW students (K-5) need to come to the school to register.  It is not necessary for parents of currently enrolled pre-k students to attend registration.

Registration dates:
Wednesday, March 27, 2019 (8am-4pm) Room A145
Thursday, March 28, 2019 (8am-7pm) Room A145

Beginning March 1, 2019, you may pick up an enrollment packet from Findley Oaks and return completed packet when you come for registration.

Volunteering at Findley Oaks


To keep in compliance with State Law and with best practices, we require that all persons interested in volunteering at Findley Oaks and in the Fulton County school district register or re-register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration and application process. Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes for the training and application process. Additionally, in accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools.

Before you volunteer at Findley Oaks Elementary School, please CLICK HERE to access the Fulton County Schools Volunteer Registration Portal.

Fill out all pertinent information. Once submitted, please allow 24 hours to process your application before being approved to volunteer​ at Findley Oaks.
