This website is the first to be created by students and staff in the elementary level. I hope that you will find it informative and helpful. What a wonderful opportunity to let you know what is happening at Abbotts Hill. This year, as most of you know, is our 12th school year together. Since our union, we have provided the best opportunities for our students to successfully complete a strong, well placed academic program. We could not meet our goals without the assistance of our parents, community, and business members. It is our mission to promote student achievement and to provide a safe learning environment.

One of the precepts every educator professes is that every child can learn. Our role is to take each child, determine their level of understanding, and encourage them to grow. However, knowledge alone is not enough. It is our duty to teach children to be responsible as individuals for their actions. Accepting responsibility for one's actions may be the most difficult concept to teach young people, but it is by far the most important one. At Abbotts Hill we believe we can change the world one child at a time by teaching each child to be a responsible individual.
