Here’s to a GREAT learning year at Abbotts Hill!
FUN RUN Fundraiser is back this year!
Fun Run event will be held on September 23rd! Funds raised will go toward the purchase of additional iPads and Personalized Learning Technology. The Boosterthon theme for this year is “Backyard Box Office,” a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Production crews traveled the country to bring our students movies about real kids dedicated to making people’s lives better.
Chorus registration packets will be available very soon to all interested 4th and 5th Grade Singers. Rehearsals will be held in the Music Room on Wednesday afternoons from 2:20 - 3:30pm starting in mid September. The school master calendar is still being set and soon we will have all the information that we need to distribute all of the packets. You can look for the Chorus registration packets soon in your students Friday folder.
Parents, please be thinking about how you might assist the chorus this coming school year. We will need parents for rehearsal check-in, parent check-out following rehearsal, concerts, rehearsal packets and CDs, celebration parties and lots more for all the adults who love the chorus here at Abbotts Hill. It takes many willing hands to help the chorus to be successful. Let me know now if you might be interested in helping us.
Looking forward to singing!!!
