Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of digital media and technology, has recognized Abbotts Hill as a Common Sense School.
Abbotts Hill has demonstrated its commitment to taking a whole-community approach to preparing its students to use the immense power of digital media to explore, create, connect, and learn, while limiting the perils that exist in the online realm, such as plagiarism, loss of privacy, and cyberbullying. The recognition acknowledges our schools commitment creating a culture of digital learning and citizenship.

Parent Volunteer Registration must be completed for all of our classroom volunteers
To keep in compliance with State Law and best practices, for the 2017-2018 school year, we will require that all persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application). All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval. We love our volunteers! Please take a minute to complete this mandatory registration.

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)
| Abbotts Hill’s long term goals are to improve academic achievement and increase students’ 21st century skills. We invite parent volunteers to develop a brief script to speak to students about their college and career experience on the morning news at 7:40 am. Studies show that early career exploration sets a solid foundation for successful life/ career planning in the future.
