Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of digital media and technology, has recognized Abbotts Hill as a Common Sense School.

Abbotts Hill has demonstrated its commitment to taking a whole-community approach to preparing its students to use the immense power of digital media to explore, create, connect, and learn, while limiting the perils that exist in the online realm, such as plagiarism, loss of privacy, and cyberbullying. The recognition acknowledges our schools commitment creating a culture of digital learning and citizenship.

"We applaud the faculty and staff of Abbotts Hill for embracing digital citizenship as an important part of their students' education," said Liz Kline,  VP, Education Programs, Common Sense Education. "Abbotts Hill deserves high praise for giving its students the foundational skills they need to compete and succeed in the 21st-century workplace and participate ethically in society at large."

Clinic Information

If your student has a medical condition that would require emergency medication be kept at school, please make sure you have provided that medication with completed forms to the clinic ASAP. All prescription medication requires a PHYSICIAN’S signature.

ALL medications (prescription & over the counter) must be supplied by the parent/uardian and in the original container from the store or pharmacy. We do not stock Advil, Tylenol, or even cough drops. Forms can be found electronically under Student Health Services on Fulton County Schools website www.fultonschools.org or by contacting Ms. Vaccaro at vaccaro@fultonschools.org.
Parent Volunteer Registration must be completed for all of our classroom volunteers

To keep in compliance with State Law and best practices, for the 2017-2018 school year, we will require that all persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application). All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval. We love our volunteers! Please take a minute to complete this mandatory registration.

The Future will take us.PNG
Abbotts Hill’s long term goals are to improve academic achievement and increase students’ 21st century skills.  We invite parent volunteers to develop a brief script to speak to students about their college and career experience on the morning news at 7:40 am.  Studies show that early career exploration sets a solid foundation for successful life/ career planning in the future. Please contact our school counselor, Ms. Demons at DemonsS@fultonschools.org for more information.
