Additional community resources are available if you need help or want to help! Visit the CoronaVirus Resource Page for more information or to get involved.
While school is closed, our staff is still here to help! Email your child's teacher with any questions regarding our Extended Digital Learning Plan - our goal is to respond by 11:30 and 3:30 each day.
Section 1: Extended Digital Learning Plan Basics
During the extended closing of school, students will be provided each week with activities to review standards and continue to practice and apply their skills. We will email all parents the current week's plans every Sunday and update our website.
We understand that not all students will complete all activities: do what you can without stressing! As a reminder, the recommended time allotments for students to spend on academic activities are approximately 60 minutes per day for PreK-2nd grade and 90 minutes per day for 3rd – 5th grade. Students will have two weeks to turn in assignments from the first day that school resumes.
Call the Fulton County Hotline (470-254-2300) with any technology problems from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day during the school closure.
Section 2: Let's Get Started! "Week 3" Activities
Visit Barnwell Digital Learning Activities Website for our Week 2 (3/30-4/3) activities. Visit the BBTV tab first to watch our daily announcements, then click on the appropriate grade level tab for each child. Be sure to also read teacher emails with specific information for your child's class. Teachers are sending emails every Sunday night/Monday morning during our school closure. Reach out to him/her with any questions.
These plans on our Digital Learning Website are made by Barnwell Teachers – do not use the plans Fulton County is providing (their plans are generic; ours are for Barnwell students). A limited amount of hard copies are available in the bin near our entrance – please only pick these up if you are unable to access the internet.
