The Science Olympiad is a wonderful way for students to explore the wide world of science. Through their work on science projects in a variety of categories, including Crime Busters, Disease Detectives, Pasta Bridge Water Rockets and many more, students get the chance to see how versatile and pervasive science can be!

The program is open to students in 3rd grade and higher. The Georgia Elementary Science Olympiad will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Kennesaw State University.

Interested students can complete the registration form, due by Wednesday, 3/28/12.

For more information about the program, please visit the Georgia Science Olympiad website or contact the school's program leader, Tom Dunmire at dunmiret@fultonschools.org.
