Stephanie Franklin - FranklinS@fultonschools.org
I grew up in a small town, Eufaula, Alabama. I attended Auburn University and have been teaching for the past twelve years. I chose to become a teacher because of my love for children and my desire to make positive impacts in their lives. I have been married to my husband Kyman for 7 years and have two sweet and beautiful daughters named Claire and Stella. Claire is three and Stella is fourteen months old. I feel that being a parent has given me an even greater appreciation of children. Our family likes to travel, bake, play outside together, read books and just enjoy spending time with each other. I started teaching at Cogburn Wood when it opened. I love teaching kindergarten! In my opinion it is the best grade ever! I love to hear all the fascinating stories my students have to share with me. I enjoy working with the children, staff, and parents of Cogburn Woods Elementary School.

Jodi Luxton - Luxton@fultonschools.org
My name is Jodi Luxton, and teaching is my passion! Upon completing my degree at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, I taught for seven years at Bainbridge Elementary. In the summer of 1999 my family (husband Rob and our three daughters - Hannah, Addison and Shelby) arrived in Alpharetta and I began my Fulton County teaching career. I have been teaching for fifteen years and I look forward to the opportunity to work with such a talented and valued staff and supportive community! It is my pleasure to be a part of the Cogburn Woods family. The children that enter my classroom door are given opportunities to explore learning and draw meaning from hands-on experience, role-play, and innovative instruction. My classroom environment is child-centered, and fosters life-long learning. It is a safe and creative atmosphere that allows each student to value himself as well as others.
