We continue to monitor the forecast for tomorrow's (February 10) weather conditions, but as of this time, the Fulton County School System plans to operate on a normal schedule for Wednesday, February 10. If this should change, parents and staff will be notified. Please continue to stay tuned to the FCS website, the district's social media channels and FCS-TV, and to local news media for any potential updates.

Tuesday, February 9 -- Afterschool events, activities and athletics occuring after 6 p.m. are canceled.

Welcome to Dolvin Elementary School!

 Inspire. Challenge. Achieve.

2016 School Governance Council (SGC) elections will be held March 23rd - March 29th.  To vote, you will be required to log in to the FCS system using your Home Access ID and password.  The voting system will only allow one vote per username so make sure to sign-up for your own username and password if you want to vote in the elections.  You must come to the school with a picture ID to pick up your username and password if you have not done so already.

PARENTS!  Please take a minute to look at Dolvin's calendar for 2015-16.  It is a little different from Fulton County Schools' calendar.  Please note the dates of Professional Development days.  On these days, students will not attend school because Teachers will be attending professional development programs.

Georgia Milestones testing for students in Grades 3-5 begins in April.  For information about this annual test, you may watch this video.

In addition, we have information about the Georgia Milestones test on this
Georgia Milestones Powerpoint presentation.

At Dolvin, we encourage our students each day to be inspired and challenged by what they are learning and to work hard to exemplify our values.

Inspire. Challenge. Achieve

  • Creating a 21st century learning experience using technology, balanced assessment, and community involvement.

Dolvin students with the support of families, staff, and community will:

  • Create a pathway that enriches the unique character and readiness of our ever evolving learners.
  • Collaborate in a supportive environment to instill integrity, embrace ongoing challenges, and achieve collective goals.
  • Become global thinkers who are inspired to pursue their passions and lead others in making a positive impact on our society.
