On behalf of the Esther Jackson family, it is my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome for the 2015-2016 school year. We are anticipating an exciting and successful year. We hope that as EJ parents you will feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school through the PTA and your child’s classroom program.

As principal at Esther Jackson Elementary, I am looking forward to working with our dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students. My goal is to foster an atmosphere that promotes a positive, engaging, and safe learning community characterized by academic excellence, trust, respect, excellent communication, community involvement, and recognition of both student and staff achievement. I am committed to developing and implementing this shared vision.

Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role in encouraging our children to become active learners. Supporting our children to do well at school, and in their lives, is the center of our work. Working as a team we will move forward in sustaining our vision of a nurturing, disciplined, and challenging environment in which all students learn to their highest potential. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or simply to introduce yourself. I am looking forward to working with the EJ staff, students, families, and community.

Jennifer Cassidy, Principal

Thank you for visiting our website!  I hope you enjoy learning about the exciting activities happening at Esther Jackson Elementary.  We take great pride in our school and are driven by a shared vision for continuous improvement.

I began my teaching career as a teacher at Sweet Apple Elementary in Roswell, GA then moved to Creek View Elementary in Alpharetta, GA when it opened in 2002.  My experience as an Assistant Principal began in 2005.  I hold degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.S.) as well as North Georgia College and State University (M. Ed. and Ed. S.)

Our students come to us with diverse learning needs and have a range of interests, skills, and abilities.  My goal is to help create a positive learning environment and to support our teachers as they engage every student in meaningful and rigorous learning every day.

Thank you again for your interest in our school.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns that you have about Esther Jackson Elementary.  I look forward to getting to know students and families and welcoming them to the Esther Jackson family!
