To run for School Governance Council!

Candidate Declarations are now open for Our School Governance Councils from January 23rd - February 17th

In March, Findley Oaks Elementary will be holding elections for two parent/guardian positions and one teacher position to serve on the School Governance Council for two year terms. Parents or guardians of students who will be attending our school during both the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years are eligible to run for the parent/guardian SGC positions.

Our School Governance Council has a leadership role in the governance of the school. The Council works with the principal on the long-term vision and strategy for the school. They are responsible for approving the school’s strategic plan and budget recommendations, as well as designing innovative solutions to increase academic achievement and meet the unique needs of our school community.

If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please declare your candidacy by February 17. Click the "Candidate Declaration Form" link below to declare your candidacy!
