MILLION FATHER MARCH 2016
The Black Star Project is thrilled to sponsor the 2016 Million Father March on the first day of school in nearly 600 cities across America! Our aim is to inspire fathers and families to be more effectively engaged in their children’s education.
When fathers and men are engaged with their children’s schooling, students show improved learning outcomes and demonstrate better behavior. Teachers can partner with parents to produce even better results in their classrooms. Students, schools and communities benefit immeasurably when children feel protected, supported and loved by fathers and father figures.

Georgia Parent Survey
Please follow this link to take the Georgia Parent Survey. It is very important for the state to receive feedback on our school. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet. The survey will take 5 - 10 minutes to complete. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.
