State of Georgia Parent Survey
The time to administer the Georgia Parent Survey for the 2014-2015 school year has arrived. This is the second year that the Georgia Parent Survey has been administered, and data from the Georgia Parent Survey will be used to calculate the School Climate Star Rating within the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), along with the correlation between the student responses on the Georgia Student Health Survey II and school personnel responses on the Georgia School Personnel Survey. The Georgia Parent Survey will remain open through Friday, March 27, 2015.
The Georgia Parent Survey is administered electronically and parents are able to complete the survey using personal computers, smartphones or iPads. The Georgia Parent Survey has 20 questions and it should take no more than 5 - 10 minutes to complete. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.
All parents should participate in the Georgia Parent Survey. The link to the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below. Heards Ferry would love your feedback! Don't forget to complete the survey before March 27, 2015!

New School Coming Soon!!
As you should know by now, this is the last year for the current Heards Ferry Elementary building, which was built in 1970. A replacement Heards Ferry Elementary school is in the process of being built just across I-285 on Powers Ferry Road with plans to be completed in time for the 2015-16 school year.
The official Fulton County page for the school replacement project can be found here, and a copy of the presentation (including floor plans and exterior sketches) can be found here.
