The beautiful campus of Hembree Springs Elementary School was established in 2001. On July 27th and 28th 2001, the school opened its doors for the first time to the staff and PTA. This group came together for a retreat that focused on team building and developing our vision and mission statement. Through a systematic approach, we identified our purpose and vision. After more than a decade, this vision and mission still hold true and have stood the test of time.

Working together to learn and grow beyond our dreams...

School Song: "Hembree Dreams"

Hembree Springs Elem. School Song
Music by Teresa Jennings
Words revised by Hembree Springs Elem. 5th grade music classes (2001-2002)

Here at Hembree Springs Elementary, with our blue and gold wings we fly.
We're the Hawks you know, and we know the way to go.
Reaching for our dreams way up high.

Big, big dreams. Lots of big dreams.
Things I wanna do someday.
Big, big dreams. Lots of big dreams.
Big dreams are okay.

You might think school is really boring. Just let us tell you that's not true.
Working together to learn and grow. Using knowledge as we go.
Reaching for our dreams way up high.

Big, big dreams. Lots of big dreams.
Things I wanna do someday.
Big, big dreams. Lots of big dreams.
Big dreams are okay.
