IMPORTANT Information for ALL Lake Forest Volunteers!!!

You’ve all probably seen communication regarding our need to have all school volunteers take the Child Abuse Reporting training at the school. Thankfully, the process for doing this has become a little bit easier. It is no longer necessary for parents to do the training in the school building. The link below will direct volunteers to a video of the training that can be viewed at home (or other non-school location). After viewing the video, there is a certificate that can be printed. This will verify that the parent/volunteer has completed the training. The parent/volunteer should bring this certificate to the school prior to volunteering.

In order to volunteer, each parent will need to complete the Volunteer Safety Form and provide the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training Certificate.

The video is about 10-12 minutes long, and it will need to be completed each school year.

Any volunteers that do not have internet or printer access can use computers at the school. Just let us know that it’s needed so we can arrange a time.

For questions, please call Beda Roberts, our Social Worker.

 STRATEGIC PLAN

Fulton County Schools
Strategic Plan

This strategic plan is the roadmap for how Fulton County Schools aims to improve student achievement over the next five years. Three goals serve as the district's measure for long-term student success:

1) GRADUATION RATE
90% of Fulton students will graduate
on time.
2) COLLEGE READINESS
85% of Fulton's seniors will be elgibile
for admission to a University System
of Georgia college or university.
3) CAREER READINESS
100% of Fulton's graduates will be
work-ready certified.

This plan will only work when all parts of the community, staff, and stakeholders are aligned. Our hope from this presentation is that you will walk away understanding our key commitment to children and how we plan to get there.
