2019-2020 Pre-K registration

Pre-K registration is March 18th – March 22nd. Children must be 4 by September 1, 2019 in order to be eligible for the Pre-K program. Due to the limited number of seats available in Pre-K, selection will be by lottery to determine placement. The Pre-K lottery is not on a first come first serve process and all applications received between March 18th and March 22nd will be processed together. Students living in the Medlock Bridge attendance zone will be chosen first.

If there are extra spots available we will then choose students from out of our attendance zone. The lottery will be held at 1:00 p.m. in room 131 on March 26th.

Documentation for Registration

In order to register, you will need your child’s original birth certificate with raised seal, Social Security card, and 2 proofs of residency (contract on house, home mortgage bill, house lease, or an apartment lease showing the occupant names, AND a current water or electric bill), parent state issued drivers license or passport.

Medlock Bridge Elementary is excited to be invited to become an

OSMO Certified Ambassador School.  This fall our PTO purchased an OSMO

for each and every classroom.

As Ambassadors we will be able to test new games and will receive

promotional items from OSMO to expand the use of this great

educational technology tool in our school.

Fulton County Parent Volunteers!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PARENT & VOLUNTEER SIGN IN:

A new check-in system has been installed by Fulton County Board of Education at all schools.

Beginning with the 2014-2015 school year, all volunteers must register PRIOR to your first volunteer commitment at Medlock. All volunteers must complete the volunteer on-line registration and view a mandatory video. Once these steps have been completed you will receive an email confirming satisfactory completion and you may then come to school and show a valid, government-issued ID.  This will complete the final step of the security registration process. You must complete the process in that order: complete online forms and mandatory video THEN come to school for final steps. (Volunteers must register annually once a new school year has begun. There is a district 48 hour approval process so please plan accordingly. When entering your information online, please use the name that is on your drivers license).

o   Register here.

o   Complete the mandatory online training.

o   Complete the volunteer application online and submit.

o   Wait for a confirmation email from Fulton County Schools.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INFORMATION COMPLETED LAST YEAR IS NO LONGER VALID.

Volunteer Registration

All persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District are required  to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process.  The registration process can be found on the FCS District Website under Community/Partners & Volunteers or Click Here.  Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes for the training and application process.  In accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools.  It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application).  All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval.

YOU MUST REGISTER USING THIS SITE FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR!

Thank you for your commitment to the safety and security of our students and staff.
