Student Council

Members of Student Council serve as leaders of our school and role models for their peers.  They assist with many projects throughout the year such as food drives, holiday donations, and Pennies for Patients.  Student Council members are also responsible for sharing information with their teachers and classmates, as well as helping to make important decisions that positively impact our school.

Interact Club

The Interact Club focuses on service to benefit the community and our school.  During our meetings and by participating in many projects throughout the year, members develop a network of relationships with their peers and local community, while learning about the value of individual responsibility, hard work and goodwill.

No Place for Hate

Mimosa Elementary School has become No Place for Hate for the 2013-2014 school year!  We are proudly displaying our banner presented to us from the Anti-Defamation League in the front hallway.

We will work hard again during the 2014-2015 school year to receive this honorable designation.  Stay tuned for fun projects and events related to respect and diversity like Peace Day that will take place throughout the year!  We want to support this initiative so that all of our students and staff feel welcome and safe at Mimosa!
