FEBRUARY FAMILY LUNCH

Our Thanksgiving lunch was so well attended that we want to schedule another school lunch opportunity for our families.  Originally, we discussed having one before the winter break but have decided to wait until February for our next family lunch.  Once we have specifics ironed out we will send home communication to our families, so they can plan to attend if possible.

Warm regards,

Mary

FROM THE MEDIA CENTER

Students, please consider participating in the

Six Flags Read to Succeed Program; read for six hours, complete your reading log, have your parent/guardian sign it, and send it to Mrs. Bercher.  You will earn one free Six Flags ticket.  Begin right now!  All forms are due to me by February 13, 2015.  This will be a great way to READ-READ-READ over the winter holiday break!!!  The reading logs will be sent home with students, but extra copies are available in the Media Center; we have copies in Spanish, too.

Also, please consider entering the Media Festival….

This is a Fulton County-wide competition highlighting media, technology, and research skills.  Our school-wide entries and paperwork will be due on Feb. 10, 2015, including a bibliography page.  Winners at the county level will compete at the Georgia state level competition.  There are many forms to complete, so please review the rules at http://www.gsmf.us/ (forms will be available in the Media Center).
