The RNE family is so excited for the return of Field Day! This year's theme is inspired by the Summer Olympics in Rio, so the classes will compete against one another in Olympic-themed events. There will be a gold, silver and bronze class winner in each grade level.
RNE needs LOTS of volunteers to make Field Day a memorable and safe experience for our kids! There are two shifts of volunteer slots with a snack break in between. Each shift is approximately two hours. Please volunteer for a shift (or two) and then spend the other shift with your child.
• Volunteer for PreK-2nd grade Field Day on May 16 by visiting: http://vols.pt/qYCaNs
• Volunteer for 3rd-5th grade Field Day on May 17 by visiting: http://vols.pt/J9DQsF
To all Field Day Volunteers:
There will be a short mandatory training for all Field Day volunteers. The goal is to prep all volunteers in advance so Field Day runs efficiently, ensuring the kids get to hit all the stations. During this 20-30 minute meeting, Mrs. Maynor will outline the procedures for Field Day and volunteer responsibilities for each event. Each volunteer will receive a packet of information needed to run your station. Training sessions will be held at 7:45am on May 5, 10, & 12 in the RNE cafeteria.
Thank you for your attendance!

SB 10 In-District Transfer Application Process
As a provision of the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (GSNSP), parents of students with disabilities who receive special education services may choose to transfer their child to another public school in Fulton County.
Parents can request a transfer to another public school as long as there is available space at that school and the school has a program with the services agreed to in the student’s existing individualized education program. Please click here
for more information about the GSNSP in Fulton County schools and to access the online application form. The application window is March 1-May 1, 2016.
Questions may be directed to the Services for Exceptional Children department at email@example.com.
For ALL visitors and volunteers coming into Roswell North School -
Raptor is a new check-in system installed by Fulton County Board of Education at our school. In order to better protect our students, volunteers and staff, all visitors will be required to show a valid, government-issued ID.
Per Fulton County School policy all volunteers must register PRIOR to your first volunteer commitment at RNE. Information is available on the Fulton website and we ask that you read it carefully. All volunteers must complete this volunteer on-line registration process and view a mandatory video. Once these steps have been completed you will receive an email confirming satisfactory completion and you may then come to school to complete the final step of the security registration process. You must complete the process in that order: complete online forms and mandatory video THEN come to school for final steps. Please remember to bring your ID.
Registration information for all students in on the registration page.
