I am a 20-year resident of Roswell and beginning my 20th year of teaching at Sweet Apple. I have taught in the first, second, and fifth grades; besides my nine years of experience in third. I have a degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and an education degree from the University of Texas; with a specialization in English.

I have a son Brian, who lives in Decatur: a daughter Jamie and her husband Kane who have two sons Jack and Homer, who live in Roswell; and my Dad who lives in Atlanta.  I am the middle sister of three daughters in my family.

My stress reducers are dark chocolate, hiking, going to the park with my grandsons and taking regular trips to the beach!
