School Governance Council Elections for
Wilson Creek Parent/Guardians Coming Soon!
Wilson Creek will be electing two representatives to serve on the School Governance Council. Our School Governance Council has a leadership role in the governance of the school. The Council works with the principal in setting the long-term vision and strategy for the school. They are responsible for approving the school's strategic plan and budget recommendations, as well as designing innovative solutions to increase academic achievement and meet the unique needs of our school community. Kindergarten Round-Up at Wilson Creek
Kindergarten Round-Up for rising kindergarten students at Wilson Creek will take place on Thursday, March 22 from 5:30 PM -7:00 PM. Come and find out more about Wilson Creek!
SB-10 In-District Transfer Application Process
As a provision of the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (GSNSP), parents of students with disabilities who receive special education services may choose to transfer their child to another public school in Fulton County. Parents can request a transfer to another public school as long as there is available space at that school and the school has a program with the services agreed to in the student's existing individualized education program. Volunteering at Wilson Creek
Each person who wants to volunteer at Wilson Creek and in the Fulton County School District must complete an online volunteer registration/application process. If you registered after August 2, 2016, you do not have to reregister until next school year. The registration process can be found on the FCS District Website under Community/Partners & Volunteers or click here. Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes for the training and application process. In accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application). All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval.
ALL volunteers must register PRIOR to your first volunteer commintment at Wilson Creek. The process may take up to 48 hours to process.

o Complete the mandatory online training.
o Complete the volunteer application form and submit.
o Wait for a confirmation email from Fulton County Schools.
o Bring your valid ID to school each time you visit Wilson Creek.________________________________________________________
Kindergarten and New Student Registration
Kindergarteners must be five years old on or before September 1, 2017.
Parent(s)/guardian(s) are to bring the following documents for registration:
- Grades Kindergarten through Grade 5 –Official State Birth Certificate
- Georgia State Immunization Form (3231)
- Georgia State Hearing, Vision & Dental Screening Form (3300)
- Child's Social Security Number (Optional)
- Two Current Proofs of Residency
