Alpharetta Varsity Volleyball Captain, Destiny Stewart officially committed and signed to Sewanee, University of the South on National Signing Day. Destiny is a power-house Outside Hitter and led the Raider offense in Kills and was an all-around impact player. Destiny has acquired many accolades over her high school years, some of them being named MVP of the Region, one of the toughest regions in the state, and also MVP of the Alpharetta Raider team. Destiny's sister, Diamond Stewart also played volleyball at Sewanee. The Alpharetta Volleyball team, Coaches, and Managers wish Destiny all the best at Sewanee!  -  Coach Fossier

Destiny is a very charismatic and a personable and caring young woman. She is smart, loving, and helpful. Although she may have the most kills for the entire state of Georgia she also loves to sing, dance, and be quite silly. She is an excellent student maintaining an A average and is a natural leader. Her presence this year on the Volleyball team helped us get crowds like never before. Crowds who were intensely into our games and supported us to the very end because of her influence. Overall, Destiny is a positive, enthusiastic, and genuine young woman who will be successful in anything she does.  -  Coach Arias

Carlos will leave the Alpharetta football program as one of the most highly decorated Wide Receivers in the program's history.  He is in the top 5 all-time in receiving yards and touchdown receptions.  He is a two-sport star at Alpharetta High School where he also excels at basketball.  His work-ethic, leadership and determination were what set him apart from other players, and it will be greatly missed in our school community.    -  Coach Nichols

Pierce Cusick

Front Row, L – R: Susan Roling, Pierce Cusick, Mike Roling,   Back Row:  Coach Jacob Nichols

Pierce is one of the most intelligent young men I have ever been around, especially on the football field.  In his four years in the AHS football program, he went from being a "role player" to a major contributor on the offensive line, and one of our most trustworthy players.  As a two-year starter, Pierce leaves a huge vacancy that will need to be filled by our younger players next season.  I am confident that he has put forth his greatest effort in influencing and preparing those underclassmen to accept the challenge in his absence.  -  Coach Nichols
