  • The National Speech and Debate Association has honored the Alpha Speech Team by ranking our school in the top 5% of schools nationwide.
  • Pooja Juvekar participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the cure event this past weekend. The event is primarily a fundraiser where participants raise money that is used for finding a cure for Breast Cancer and they walk 60 miles in 3-days.
  • Lori Hetherington’s second period AP Statistics participated in a test kitchen survey, testing a new recipe for applesauce. How’s that for real-world application?
  • The AHS PTSA partners with AHS Parent Mark Ray, AHS students, and Mr. Chester, as they ride the Boatcar to battle breast cancer.
  • Mr. Nance's AP U.S. History students visit the Atlanta History Center's Civil War to Civil Rights panel discussion.
  • Yasamine Mohajer was selected as “Rotary Student of the Quarter” and Yasamine chose Lisa Stroligo as the Teacher of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of the 2014-2015.
  • AHS celebrates academic success on ACTs, SATs and APs during lunch with a student band and more! Go Raiders!
  • TAG Cohort created at Alpharetta High School
  • AHS celebrates academic success on ACTs, SATs and APs during breakfast for the staff with a breakfast, gifts and much more!
  • Alpharetta Marching Raider Band finishes 3rd at Old South Marching Festival
  • The Alpharetta Speech Team scored a supreme victory at the Sequoyah High Speech and Debate Tournament this past weekend, winning 14 bids to the state championship.
  • Alpharetta defeats North Forsyth 34-14 in final regular season game to become 6A region champs!
  • Teja Finley signed to Columbus State to play basketball.
  • Devontae Cacok signed to UNC Wilmington to play basketball.
  • Alpharetta High School’s Visual Arts Department hosted the North Fulton Portfolio Day. It was an event that enabled art students from across the county to showcase their art portfolios to some of the highest ranked art schools from around the country.
  • Alpha Speech scores 6 more State Bids!
  • Patrick Cusick to UNC Chapel Hill to swim.
  • Cal Swanson to St. Johns University to play Lacrosse.
  • Kathy Jackson will receive her PhD in Art with an Emphasis in Art Education at UGA, December 19th at the UGA Coliseum.
  • Over 1000 canned items will sent to North Fulton Charities. Mrs. Cawthon’s 3rd period class collect the most with a total of 440 cans! WOW!
