Provoking a fight

Disruptive Behavior

Forgery/Altercation of School Form

Failure to Serve Teacher Detention

Assault, Battery, Fighting

Gambling

Skipping Class, Leaving Campus Without Permission

 

Unexcused Tardies

Inappropriate Language Toward a Staff Member

 

Inappropriate Languages/Gestures

Smoking, Possession of Tobacco

False Information

Theft, Attempted Theft, Possession of Stolen Property(excludes cells, I-pods, electronic devices)

 

 

Cheating

Vandalism of School Property

Writing on a Desk

Possession of Weapons and or Drugs

Public Display of Affection

*All flagrant infractions should result in an immediate referral to the principal, assistant principal, assistant administrator or school resource officer.

 

I.                    Routine infractions should follow the three step referral process as outlined below each time an infraction occurs:

Warn the student and call the parent

If the misbehavior continues, assign teacher detention and contact the parent to discuss the problem.

If the misbehavior continues, call the parent and refer the student to the discipline administrator.

 

II.                  Routine infractions for Exceptional Education students should follow this five step referral process as outlined below each time the infraction occurs:

Warn the student, visit the students BIP and call the parent.

If the misbehavior continues, meet with the student’s Case Manager and follow the course of action on the BIP, call the parent.

If the misbehavior continues the Case Manager calls a Behavior Intervention Meeting with the IEP Committee, advises the parent that the next step will be a referral to the discipline office.

If the misbehavior continues, call the parent and refer the student to the discipline administrator.

5

Student’s Case Manager, Teacher and Administrator meet to discuss the student’s behavior.
