Seniors can walk the halls of their elementary school in their caps and gowns to celebrate with the 5th graders. Seniors are to arrive at either school at 1:15 pm for the walk at 1:30 pm (Birmingham Fall, Cogburn Woods, and Summit Hill). Seniors participating in the Alpharetta walk should arrive for an 8:20 am walk. Seniors should dress appropriately and wear their caps and gowns!
Seniors must RSVP, to do so follow this link:
The graduation ceremony will be held Thursday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cambridge High School stadium. Seating is unlimited in the stadium. This year, we will have seating on the home side and visitor side of the stadium. In case of inclement weather, we will have a rain plan.
All attempts will be made to have our graduation ceremony in the stadium on Thursday, May 24. If there is inclement weather on Thursday, we will make a decision to postpone the ceremony to Friday at 9:00 am. On Friday, we will make every effort to have it in the stadium. If there is still inclement weather, a decision will be made by 7:00 a.m. to bring it inside to the gym. If graduation takes place in the gym, then each student will be have four tickets which will be given to him/her at their rehearsal.
Seniors need to arrive at 6:15 pm in their caps and gowns. Men will report to the auxiliary gym and women will report to the auditorium. Students should wear appropriate attire for the graduation ceremony. Young men should wear a white shirt, tie, dress slacks, and dress shoes. Young ladies should wear a dress or blouse and skirt, and flat shoes. The dress should not hang below the hem of the graduation gown. Please make sure your student arrives for the ceremony appropriately attired. Students should not wear t-shirts, halter-tops, tank tops, jeans, shorts, etc. During the graduation ceremony, students receive their diploma cover; therefore, immediately after the ceremony, students will pick up their diploma in the stadium concessions.
Due to the anticipated crowded parking, you are encouraged to be in the stadium by 7:00 pm, and to carpool if possible. Gates to the stadium will open no earlier than 5:00pm. The Highway 9 access point to the school will be closed. You will need to enter the school parking lot through the Bethany Bend or Cogburn Road entrance.
Overflow parking will be available at Stone Creek Church and Kings Ridge Christian School (Cogburn Road entrance). We will have shuttles in the school and stadium parking lots, as well as Stone Creek Church and Kings Ridge should you need assistance. State-permitted handicapped parking is available in the school and stadium parking lots. We encourage you to drop off your senior to save school parking for family and friends.
There is handicapped accessible seating in the stadium and for those needing assistance, drop-off will be available in front of the stadium. There will be on-duty police officers to assist you.
In an effort to support family members who may have health issues affected by the heat/sun, we will provide a shaded area prior to the ceremony.
Graduating seniors with an overall average of 88.0 or above at the end of first semester of their senior year are recognized as Honor Graduates. Honor Graduates are distinguished in the graduation ceremony by wearing a gold Honor Cord with their cap and gown. Students may purchase Honor Cords in the counseling office during school for $10.00.
The Senior Committee is putting together a slideshow for the CHS Senior Class. The slideshow will be shown during the Senior Dinner, after graduation rehearsal on May 23, 2018. Parent/Guardians can submit two to three pictures of your senior during their time at Cambridge High School. The committee does not want baby pictures.

2018 Baccalaureate and Volunteer Donations
The Cambridge High School 2018 Baccalaureate ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 20th - 4:00 pm @ Stonecreek Church.
For those that are not sure what the ceremony is about....Baccalaureate is a non-denominational, faith based service of worship that celebrates graduating seniors. It is a parent-sponsored, parent-funded, pre-graduation event. Families come together with praise and with thanksgiving for the successful completion of one chapter in the lives of their children and the opening of another. It is a very special time and we look forward to celebrating our seniors as 2018 Class of Cambridge High School.
Because this is faith-based event, it is not sponsored by the school or the PTSA. We depend entirely on individual donations to cover the cost of this event. Your $20 donation will help pay for printing, postage, food, decorations, and any other fees associated with the service.
Checks should be made out to Michel Kish. There is a Baccalaureate donation box in the front office at Cambridge or you can mail your donation to:
565 Cogburn Ridge Way
Alpharetta, GA 30004
We encourage all seniors to participate regardless of ability to contribute. Participation in Baccalaureate is voluntary. Seniors wear their graduation gown, stole, and honor cords or medals for the service. They do not wear or bring cap.
Please R.S.V.P to firstname.lastname@example.org for attending the ceremony on May 20th at 4:00 pm. Include the senior's name and the number of family and guests attending the service along with optional donation. Donations and RSVPs will also be accepted at CHS Senior Meeting on April 16th.
If your child would like to be involved through music, the reading of a bible verse, or an inspirational poem, please have them email Madeline Davis at email@example.com.
Thank you for supporting these wonderful young people during this milestone in their lives. If you should need more information, please feel free to contact Curly Teeter at 404.808.2200.

The transcript needs to be requested through Parchment.com or the same online program that was used to send the initial transcript to the college for admissions (for example, Common Application, SEND Edu, or Parchment). If the final transcript is being sent to AN ORGANIZATION (Sorority, Fraternity, Scholarship, etc.) OR A PERSON, Parchment.com must be used.
As part of senior check out, Fulton County also requires students to report their total scholarship amount awarded for their duration at college, including the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships, at https://tinyurl.com/BearScholarship. The collective total of the senior class will be shared at our graduation ceremony. Scholarship information must be submitted by Friday, May 4th.
