SCHOOL-WIDE TARDY POLICY

Creekside High School will begin implementing a School-Wide Tardy Policy beginning October 1st. It is imperative that students are in class on time. The establishment of good work habits, attendance habits and citizenship promotes effective development for each student. The goal of Creekside High School's Student Attendance Program is to implement a high quality, efficient system that reinforces excellent attendance ultimately increasing graduation and college acceptance rate. Parents/Guardians, to ensure students are in class on time, your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.  Please see below for an overview of our tardy policy.

HERE COMES THE BUS!!

Beginning September 17th, Fulton County Schools will offer a free app called "Here Comes The Bus" that allows parents to track their student's school bus. The app uses GPS technology to locate and track a school bus. Similar to ride-sharing apps, buses will show up as an icon on a map, and parents can follow its progress at the bus moves toward their child's stop.
To sign up, parents need their child's student ID number and the Fulton County Schools'
code – 87428. After completing a brief user profile, the app is ready to use. Multiple students in the same household can be put on the same account, and using their Launchpad login, students can download the app to their cell phones or other personal devices to view their bus status.
The app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store or parents can visit www.herecomesthebus.com  to sign up. More information, including FAQs and troubleshooting information, also is posted here:https://tinyurl.com/HCTBapp

2018_2019__DontThinkAttendanceIsImportant.jpg

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Our goal at Creekside High School is to make all stakeholders aware of the value and importance of student attendance. Addressing chronic absence is a key component of improving graduation rates, increasing academic achievement, and giving young people the best chance at success in their adult life. Attendance is essential to school success.
