The administration, faculty and staff of Independence High School appreciate the willingness of our volunteers to share their time and talents to further enrich our students' academic experience. Assuring the security of the students is our top priority and, with that in mind, we would like to share the following information:
As of July 1, 2012, Georgia law states that all school volunteers are MANDATED REPORTERS and are required to report any suspected child abuse or neglect. Parents and community members must complete the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training and the on-line Volunteer Safety Information Form prior to volunteering at Independence High School. This may be accomplished by visiting the link below and choosing "Register to Volunteer."
