The purpose of the School Governance Council is to provide parents, school staff, and community members with a leadership role in the management of the school. The School Governance Council is a governing body that is representative of the community and the school, but operates under the control and management of the Board of Education.
The Johns Creek School Governance Council has been working on new Requests for Flexibility (RFF) proposals and is in the process of submitting them for the upcoming school year. This, if approved by the Superintendent, will address the needs of Johns Creek High School through waivers of state laws and/or district policies to implement a school-based strategy.
