Georgia Surveys - School Climate Star Rating for CCRPI
Georgia provides three surveys that school districts can administer in order to acquire feedback for schools. At least 75% of all students in grades 3-12 must participate in the Georgia Student Health Survey, although parents can opt out for their children. There is also a Georgia School Personnel Survey for school staff and a Georgia Parent Survey as well. All survey responses are anonymous and reported directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Results are used to inform the School Climate Star Rating as part of the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI).
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents will be able to complete the survey using their personal computers, smartphones or iPads. For parents that do not have access to the Internet, computers will be available in the school media center if they wish to complete the Georgia Parent Survey. The Georgia Parent Survey can be accessed by CLICKIN G HERE . The survey will be open until Friday, March 27, 2015.
