Good morning!

The Attendance Office is open during school from 8:00am until 3:00pm.  Students cannot be checked out after 3:00pm. Please read the full attendance policies in the

 Student Agenda/Handbook .

Checking In:

All students arriving to school after 8:20am should report to the attendance office for a pass before reporting to class.  All unexcused tardies will result in the appropriate consequence. All students wishing an excused late check-in must present a written note including the reason, signature of a parent or guardian and daytime phone number so note can be verified.

Checking Out:

Most dismissals that occur during the school day are pre-planned; this can be a smooth process by following these easy steps.

1. Write a note outlining the following – who (full name please) you are checking out, why you are checking out, date, and time you are checking out, then sign and give a contact number. If your student is a driver, please indicate that on the note as well. Please write legibly. The latest a student can check out is 3:00 pm. This avoids conflict with buses and carpool drivers arriving for dismissal.

2. Your student should bring this note to the attendance office after 8:00 AM and before 1st period on the morning of the pre-planned early dismissal. The attendance representative will call the number listed on the note to verify that the student is checking out. Your student is then instructed to report to the attendance office at time stated on the note. Please be sure that the note accurately represents when you want your student to be at the attendance office.

3. For non-drivers, a parent or guardian must enter the school for check out.

4. When you arrive, you will be asked to sign a check out slip prior to the release of your student.

This process will help us to keep instructional time productive and with minimal interruptions. Thank You!
