Robotics Team

The North Springs Robotics teams competed in their first meet this weekend. They placed 8th and 11th out of 12 teams. Great showing for the first match for two brand new teams! Standout students were Vaiyon Caphart, Byron Hamilton, Kevin Gonzalez, Victor Amparo, Chris Donseraux, Kota Gray, Jesse Gibbons, Christian Holloman, Myles Baylor, Ryan Cohen, Derek Coffsky, and Yamari Reese. Come out and support the team at our next on December 2 at Mt. Bether Christian Academy. The Robotics Club will meet today after school in Room D004.

Talent Show Results

Thank you all who auditioned for the North Springs Talent Show 2017. We were blown away by the talent of all the contestants. The 15 acts have been chosen and are posted on the board outside C106. The North Springs Talent Show will be on December 15th, so save the date.

​North Springs JROTC has had a successful​ Raider Season, completing the final competition this weekend led by Lieutenant Colonel Ashley Catalan. They won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in several categories. They now march into their drill season.

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team for qualifying to the State Championships next week. The girls were led by Sophia Charanis, Madi Famean, Grace Milan, Paige Lowe, and Susana Scelberg. The boys just missed qualifying and were led by freshman sensation, Simon Kwon.

Red Ribbon Writing Contest

Calling all poets, slam poets, journalists, and writers! Submit your poetry, slam poetry, short essays, or narratives to the Red Ribbon Drug Awareness Writing Contest this week! Submissions can be up to 2 pages long and involve stories and goals for living a substance-free life! T-shirt and gift card prizes awarded for top 3 submissions. Football Tickets

Football tickets will be on sale today in the clinic with Nurse Warner during all three lunches for $5 and for the remainder of the school day in Coach Harper's office D106. Tickets will not be sold after 7th period.

The UNICEF club is sponsoring the Trick or Treat for UNICEF fundraiser from now until the end of the month. Our goal is to raise $210, which will provide a school in a box to help 40 refugee children learn and heal. If you would like o help, please see Mr. Zand in room D223 for your donation box.

Congrats Water Polo Team

Congratulations to the water polo team for finishing in 7th place in the state tournament over the weekend. The team entered as the 13th seen and upset both Collins Hill A and St. Pius B before falling to Lakeside A. Goals were scored by: Jake Rubin (8), John Cleveland (5), Turner Templeton (4), Zachry Schneiderman (4), and Patrick Casey (2). Charley Plumley had 44 saves in goal. Congratulations on a great season!
