​Enrolling at North Springs

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at North Springs Charter High School. During the school year please make an appointment with our registar Lori Bryan by calling 470.254.5886 or emailing bryanl@fultonschools.org.  Registration is by appointment only on Monday and WednesdayBeginning May 30 thru August 3, 2018 all summer appointments will be made online at Schedule an Appointment. To expedite the process during the school year you may pick up an enrollment packet in advance from the counseling office; please bring the completed forms and required documents when you come for registration. We look forward to meeting you.

To enroll in Fulton County Schools, the student's parent or legal guardian must be a resident of the school system and the following documents must be presented:


Required Documents

  1. Ear, Eye and Dental Screening
    No child entering a Georgia school for the first time shall be admitted unless the child has a certificate of eye, ear and dental screening. This Georgia Department of Human Resources certificate (Form 3300) must be signed by the Health Department or a licensed Georgia physician.

  2. Immunization Certificate
    Georgia requires students to be immunized against measles, mumps, polio, rubella, whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis B, haemophilus influenza, and varicella. Immunization information must be on the proper Georgia Department of Human Resources form; these are available through the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness or local physicians (Form 3231).

  3. Birth Certificate
    Must be government issued; hospital certificates are not acceptable. Birth certificates for children born in Georgia may be requested from:

  4. Proof of Residency

          In early 2015, the Fulton County School Board approved a revision to our    School Admission Policy (JBC) for Residency Verification. The policy no longer requires families to submit an Affidavit of Residence (AOR) for every year of student enrollment but instead now requires two proofs of residence upon initial enrollment into Fulton County Schools and upon entry into Kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, and when there is any address change. Below is the revised 2017 approved document list - please note it does NOT include gas bills.

  • One current Water or Electric bill AND one Residence document

    from the list below. Both documents must contain parent or guardian's name and current address.

    • Copy of home mortgage payment
    • Current bank statement
    • Valid Driver's License/State ID 
    • Current utility bill ( electric or water)
    • Current Paycheck
    • Copy of home sale contract
    • Current HOA Bill
    • Section Eight/HUD Housing Document
    • Current Apartment/House lease 
    • Apartment lease showing name of legal guardian
    • Homeowner's insurance registration/card

Social Security Number
Social security numbers are voluntary. Waivers are available in local schools. Applications for social security numbers are also available in local schools. A migrant number is acceptable.

Required Academic Records from Previous school:

  • Withdrawal form with withdrawal grades
  • Copy of transcript
  • Attendance record
  • Discipline Record
  • Academic Record- most recent report card

  Enrollment Information

Summer Registration for new students for the 2018-19 school year will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am-1pm. Please click the attached link to register online for an appointment with our Registrar Lori Bryan.

  • Parents must have all required documents and a completed registration form prior to enrollment.  Enrollment packets may be picked up from the front desk in advance. 
  • The school will be open during the summer Mon-Fri from 7:30am-3:30pm
  •  A transcript from the previous school is also needed for proper class placement. For incoming 9th grade students a final report card from 8th grade is required.

SB-10 In-District Transfer Application Process

As a provision of the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (GSNSP), parents of students with disabilities who receive special education services may choose to transfer their child to another public school in Fulton County. Parents can request a transfer to another public school as long as there is available space at that school and the school has a program with the services agreed to in the student’s existing individualized education program.   Please click here for more information about the GSNSP in Fulton County schools and to access the online application form.  The application window is March 1-May 1, 2016.  Questions may be directed to the Services for Exceptional Children department at servicesforexceptionalchildren@fultonschools.org
