The Choral program consists of five curricular choirs: four advanced level choirs and one beginning level choir.
Advanced Men's Chorus
Advanced Women's Chorus
Beginning/Intermediate Mixed Chorus
Riverwood Chamber Choir
All four advanced level choirs consistently receive Superiors in both sight reading and performance at the annual District 5 GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluation. Choirs perform at four annual concerts, as well as at community events. Students new to the choral program must purchase choir uniforms. Financial aid is available, if needed.

GMEA All-State Chorus 2013
Congratulations to the Chorus students who passed two intense auditions and traveled to Savannah, Georgia to participate in the 2013 GMEA All-State Chorus in February. The group participated in six rehearsals over two and a half days and performed beautifully.
Choral Program Highlights
In 2008 and 2010, two of the advanced choirs were chosen to perform for the prestigious Georgia Music Educators Convention in Savannah. Additionally, the top women’s group, the Riverwood Singers, were selected to perform at the Southern Division American Choral Directors Association Conference in 2010.
Riverwood ensembles have toured all over the United States, including Hawaii, (2006), New York City (2009), Memphis (2010), and Florida (2004, 2013)
