The PTSA mission is to support the students, teachers, parents, and staff through fundraising, hospitality, and special programs and events geared toward improving the Riverwood experience for all. Please contact any member of the Board (listed in the Executive Members & Contacts tab on the right) with questions or comments, and to get more information about how to get involved.


Five Volunteers Needed for PTSA Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is seeking five people to help identify and recruit future PTSA Executive Committee members. This is ​a very short-term position as the committee will only meet as long as it takes to build next year's slate. Contact ptsariverwood@gmail.com for more information.

Principal's Circle​ Coffee Wednesday, January 31, 2018
PTSA Principal Circle members (donations of $250 and higher) will receive an invitation to a January coffee with Principal Chuck Gardner. It's not too late to join the PTSA, or make an additional donation, to reach the Principal's Circle level

Wellness Week - ​February 12-16​, 2018
The PTSA is proud to sponsor a full week of activities for students to bring attention to a wide variety of wellness issues. Each day during all lunch periods, the PTSA will host student clubs, school department and organizations, as well as local vendors, to complement the theme of the day. Students will have the opportunity to ​learn more about healthy living.

Volunteer Opportunities
The PTSA offers many opportunities to get involved either through serving at one-time events, or by leading a standing committee. During the school year, volunteers can assist with clerical tasks within departments, serve as a greeter at the front desk, assist with teacher hospitality, and more.
