The PTSA mission is to support the students, teachers, parents, and staff through fundraising, hospitality, and special programs and events geared toward improving the Riverwood experience for all. Please contact any member of the Board (listed in the Executive Members & Contacts tab on the right) with questions or comments, and to get more information about how to get involved.

General Meeting Friday, August 18​, 2017

Make plans to attend the first general meeting of the year. All parents are encouraged to come learn more about the PTSA, to​ meet other parents, and to sign up for the many volunteer opportunities available​. ​

Hosted off campus by the PTSA, the Coffee begins at 9am and will allow parents to mingle with Administrators and other parents. Learn about volunteer opportunities and ask questions about extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and the arts.

Visit (online link available after July 2017) and enter RIVERWOOD as the invitation code to register and pay on the secure online site. Families who registered online through the school's My School Anywhere platform in previous years will receive an automated email on or about July 27, 2017. Using the unique link provided, families can confirm/update directory information as well as pay 2017-18 PTSA​ Membership at any level.

Volunteer Opportunities
The PTSA offers many opportunities to get involved either through serving at one-time events, or by leading a standing committee. During the school year, volunteers can assist with clerical tasks within departments, serve as a greeter at the front desk, assist with teacher hospitality, and more. ​​2016-17 Online Student Directories​
The PTSA compiles the student directory each year. All members of the PTSA have access to the online directory, which also comes with a phone app for quick access. PTSA members will receive an email with instructions to access the online directory at

PTSA Mini-grants enable the Raider faculty to enrich and extend learning opportunities throughout the year. The Environmental Science classes created a short video to document some of the exciting projects made possible through the 2015-16 PTSA Mini-grant program:
