Please make plans to attend the first general meeting of the year. All parents are encouraged to come learn more about the PTSA, to meet new parents, and to sign up for the many volunteer opportunities available. The 2016-17 PTSA leaders are:

New Parent Coffee Thursday, August 25, 2016

For all parents of any student new to Riverwood (not only parents of 9th graders). Hosted off campus by the PTSA, the Coffee begins at 9am. No RSVP required. Parents have an opportunity to mingle with Administrators and other parents. Learn about volunteer opportunities and ask questions about extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and the arts. The Goldstein home is one mile from the school, inside the perimeter near the intersection of Mt. Vernon Highway and Powers Ferry Road.

Families who registered online through the school's My School Anywhere platform in previous years will receive an automated email on or about July 27, 2016. Using the unique link provided, families can confirm/update directory information as well as pay 2016-17 PTSA Membership at any level.

Fall 2016 Parking Permit Auction
For the fifth year, the school administration is donating ten parking spaces to the PTSA for a fundraiser.
Details about the 2016-17 online auction are coming soon.
PTSA Mini-grants enable the Raider faculty to enrich and extend learning opportunities throughout the year. The Environmental Science classes created a short video to document some of the exciting projects made possible through the 2015-16 PTSA Mini-grant program:

The PTSA compiles the student directory each year. It is usually available by the middle of fall semester. Access to the online directory requires a password. More information coming soon
