PTSA Launches Student Mini-grant Program in 2018

Similar to the successful long-running teacher mini-grant program, the PTSA opened up a formal procedure for student organizations to "pitch" funding requests this year. Congratulations to the Raider Chemistry Club for being the first recipient of a PTSA student mini-grant. The Chemistry Club organized and produced a Spooky Halloween experience on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Open to all science classes and to all students, the club transformed the Auxiliary Cafeteria into a fun, hands-on lab full of more than 15 cool chemistry-related tricks. Additionally, Sub-Zero provided "spooky" ice cream as an extra-special treat.
