Fall 2016 Parking Permit Auction
Opens Tuesday, August 23 - Closes Thursday, August 25, 2016

For the fifth year, the school administration is donating ten parking spaces to the PTSA for a fundraiser. The online auction opens Tuesday, August 23 at 7am and closes at 9pm, Thursday, August 25, 2016.

New Parent Coffee Thursday, August 25, 2016
9am, off-campus at the home of Jody Goldstein
135 Cross Roads Court, Atlanta, 30327​​

For all parents of any student new to Riverwood (not only parents of 9th graders). Hosted off campus by the PTSA, the Coffee begins at 9am. No RSVP required.​ Parents have an opportunity to mingle with Administrators and other parents. Learn about volunteer opportunities and ask questions about extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and the arts. The Goldstein home is one mile from the school, ​inside the perimeter near the intersection of Mt. Vernon Highway and Powers Ferry Road.

9th Grade Picnic Friday, September 2, 2016
Practice Field, 6:30pm
Sponsored by the PTSA for the 9th grade class. Free Chick-Fil-A and Kona Ice. Meet, mix, and mingle on the practice field in front of the school with members of the Class of 2019 prior to the first Home Varsity Football Game of the season. Kick off for the Battle of Raider Drive vs. Holy Innocents' is 7:30pm.

Volunteer Opportunities
The PTSA offers many opportunities to get involved either through serving at one-time events, or by leading a standing committee. During the school year, volunteers can assist with clerical tasks within departments, serve as a greeter at the front desk, assist with teacher hospitality, and more. General Meeting Friday, ​January 27, 2017

Please make plans to attend the first general meeting of spring semester. All parents are encouraged to come learn more about the PTSA, to​ meet other parents, and to sign up for the many volunteer opportunities available during the rest of the school year​. ​


PTSA Mini-grants enable the Raider faculty to enrich and extend learning opportunities throughout the year. The Environmental Science classes created a short video to document some of the exciting projects made possible through the 2015-16 PTSA Mini-grant program:
