Have you ever dreamed of zip lining through a tropical rainforest? Kayaking by a volcano? Observing animals such as monkeys, toucans, and sloths in their natural habitat? Going white water rafting and swimming beneath a waterfall? Then consider traveling to Costa Rica with your RHS friends next summer! There will be an informational meeting for this trip on Thursday August 24 in room E125 with Senorita Phelps. If you can't make the meeting but are interested, see Senorita Phelps for more information.
Attention Juniors and Seniors. Are you interested in joining the National Science Honor Society? Come by Mrs. Glover's room, H-112 and pick up an application. Applications are due back to Mrs. Glover by Friday August 18th.
Did you know there are service dogs in the building? Here are a couple of Do's and Don'ts for when you see a service dog:
*Please don't call to or talk to the dog.
*Please don't attempt to pet or feed the dog.
*Know that the dog is well trained and not aggressive or mean.
*Remember that a service dog is there to perform an important job. Any distraction could result in problems or injury for both dog and handler.
