Juniors and Seniors, are you ready to talk college? We will soon be hosting The University of Mississippi, Berry, Southern Methodist and Georgia Tech. If you would like to talk with them, you must sign up ahead of time using our QR code. Stop by Student Services with any questions 

Interested in traveling to Costa Rica with your RHS friends next summer? Then bring your parents and come to the informational meeting about the trip on Thursday 8/24 at 6:30 in room E125 or see Senorita Phelps for more info.

Attention all returning Habitat for Humanity members! The first meeting of the year is Tuesday, August 22nd at 7:45 in Mrs. Jones' room (G108). We hope to see you there!

Students, this Friday's football game will be held at the new Georgia State Stadium. This was formerly Turner Field. If you plan to attend, please be aware that parking will cost $10 and must be paid in cash only! The game will begin at 5:30, come support your Hornets!

The Fall Club Tennis Team will have a parent and player meeting on Tuesday Aug 22nd at 5 pm in Portable 2. This is a coed doubles team and you must already know how to play. Any questions, see Coach Shackelford in Portable 2.

Attention Juniors and Seniors. Are you interested in joining the National Science Honor Society? Come by Mrs. Glover's room, H-112 and pick up an application. Applications are due back to Mrs. Glover by Friday August 18th.

Improv Troupe is back! Come to the Auditorium on Thursday from 3:45-4:45 pm to learn how to perform improv through a series of games, lessons, shows, and more! All are welcome. 

Anyone who is not on campus in the mornings due to Work Based Learning, or Internaship-You need to come to school in the morning on Friday, August 18th to go through the setup process on your device. If you aren't here, you will need to wait to receive your device during one of the makeup sessions. 

If you are interested in playing basketball this year, the Girls Basketball team will be having an interest meeting on Thursday, August 17 at 8:00 am in the GYM or 3:45 pm in Room F-109 (Coach Phillips Room).

There will be two mandatory baseball meetings this week. The first meeting is for ALL returning players and it will be Wednesday morning at 7:50 in G 127. The second meeting is for anyone interested in trying out for baseball this year. This meeting will be held Friday morning at 7:50 in G 127.

Did you know there are service dogs in the building? Here are a couple of Do's and Don'ts for when you see a service dog. *Please don't call to or talk to the dog. 
*Please don't attempt to pet or feed the dog. 
*Know that the dog is well trained and not aggressive or mean. 
*Remember that a service dog is there to perform an important job. Any distraction could result in problems or injury for both dog and handler.

Students: If you have submitted a form requesting to have your schedule changed, you need to continue to FOLLOW YOUR SCHEDULE unless you receive an updated schedule delivered to your class. Our counselors are working very hard to get through the large stack of requests, however some changes will not be possible due to classes already being full. If your schedule IS changed, it will be sent to you via student aide as soon as it is changed. If your schedule can not be changed, we will notify you. 

There will be a wrestling meeting this Thursday at 8am in room PE04 for any returning wrestlers and trainers and anyone with any interest in wrestling or training this season. This is open to all boys and girls with any or no experience. New compression gear and shorts will be available for purchase in limited sizes and quantities. Please see Coach Bradach for details. 

If you are interested in having a leadership role in the 2017-18 Interact Club, plan to meet in F 108 on August 16th at 7:45! There are leadership positions available for all grade levels. If you have questions, ask Mrs. Porter, or Mrs. Pierce.

It's time to rumble, Roswell Rowdeez with the varsity volleyball team. The home opener is tonight at 5:00PM in the main gym. The girls will face off against the Wheeler Wildcats and the Johns Creek Gladiators. Come out and support your Hornets Volleyball team on Tuesday.

Are you interested in Theatre? Do you like meeting new people and experiencing new things? Then Theatre Troupe is for you! Come to the auditorium on Tuesday from 3:45-4:45 pm. Here you will learn about all of the different aspects of Theatre through games, competitions, writing workshops, and more! All are welcome.
