Princeton Review is again offering discounted ACT/SAT prep classes for Roswell students. Classes meet after school and Saturdays at RHS. To receive
information and sign up please pick up a flier from Student Services.
Freshmen! If you are interested in being involved with Student Council, paperwork for running for office or joining as a representative is available outside
H110. All paperwork is due by 3:40 Thursday 8/24 and you MUST attend an informational meeting either before or after school Thurs 8/24. Elections will
be held at the end of the month. If you are an upperclassman who wants to join or have questions, please ask Mrs. Hartigan in H110.

The National Science Honor Society will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7:50 am in Mrs. Glover's room; H-112. If you would like to
run for office come prepared with a brief speech.

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of fly fishing? Do you enjoy the scenery of a river? Then the fly fishing club is for you. Come to an informational
meeting Tuesday, August 22nd in room D111 to learn what it's all about.
TAG Registration FOR GRADES 10-12 ONLY will open on Thursday August 17th. Please sign up for a TAG seminar during lunch in room B107 or online
at www.roswelltag.wikispaces.com. Seminar classes start Tuesday August 22nd during study halls.
Students, this Friday's football game will be held at the new Georgia State Stadium. This was formerly Turner Field. If you plan to attend, please be aware
that parking will cost $10 and must be paid in cash only! The game will begin at 5:30, come support your Hornets!
The Fall Club Tennis Team will have a parent and player meeting on Tuesday Aug 22nd at 5 pm in Portable 2. This is a coed doubles team and you must
already know how to play. Any questions, see Coach Shackelford in Portable 2.
Roswell car flags are now on sale! The flags are $10.00 and available from any chorus member. Show your hornet pride at away games and every game
and competition at RHS. Supplies are limited.
This Friday is our first football game vs South Forsyth at the Corky Kell Classic. Game time is 5:30pm at Georgia State Stadium. Tickets will be on sale
Wed., Thurs., & Friday in the gym lobby. Pre-sale tickets are $13.00 and $17 at the gate. Parking is $10.00 cash only. GA. State Stadium has a clear
bag policy which is noted on their website. And ---NO FLOUR is allowed.

Are there any teachers that would like to feel the beat and sponsor step club? We have students that would love to have an opportunity to make a step
team here at RHS. We can't have a club without a sponsor. If there are any teachers interested, please put an inquiry in Ms. Mordecai's mailbox and she
will send you the email of the students who would like to head the club, thanks!
Attention Juniors and Seniors. Are you interested in joining the National Science Honor Society? Come by Mrs. Glover's room, H-112 and pick up an
application. Applications are due back to Mrs. Glover by Friday August 18th.
Improv Troupe is back! Come to the Auditorium on Thursday from 3:45-4:45 pm to learn how to perform improv through a series of games, lessons,
shows, and more! All are welcome.
Anyone who is not on campus in the mornings... It would be helpful if you could come to school in the morning on Friday, August 18th to go through the
setup process on your device. If you aren't here, you will need to wait to receive your device during one of the makeup sessions.
If you are interested in playing basketball this year, the Girls Basketball team will be having an interest meeting on Thursday, August 17 at 8:00 am in the
GYM or 3:45 pm in Room F-109 (Coach Phillips Room).
There will be two mandatory baseball meetings this week. The first meeting is for ALL returning players and it will be Wednesday morning at 7:50 in G
127. The second meeting is for anyone interested in trying out for baseball this year. This meeting will be held Friday morning at 7:50 in G 127.
