Princeton Review is again offering discounted ACT/SAT prep classes for Roswell students. Classes meet after school and Saturdays at RHS. To receive information and sign up please pick up a flier from Student Services.

If you missed the Girls Basketball Interest meeting, see Coach Wade in the GYM before or after school.

Students - The sweep bus will begin on Tuesday, August 22. The sweep bus is used by students that are here after school to participate in after school activities that are supervised by faculty. The sweep bus will run from Monday through Thursday and leaves campus at 5 pm. It's not a ride home if you just want to hang out at school but if you need to stay after school and need a ride home; use the sweep bus.

Juniors and Seniors, are you ready to talk college? We will soon be hosting The University of Mississippi, Berry, Southern Methodist and Georgia Tech. If you would like to talk with them, you must sign up ahead of time using our QR code. Stop by Student Services with any questions.

Freshmen! If you are interested in being involved with Student Council, paperwork for running for office or joining as a representative is available outside H110. All paperwork is due by 3:40 Thursday 8/24 and you MUST attend an informational meeting either before or after school Thurs 8/24. Elections will be held at the end of the month. If you are an upperclassman who wants to join or have questions, please ask Mrs. Hartigan in H110.

Interested in traveling to Costa Rica with your RHS friends next summer?Then bring your parents and come to the informational meeting about the trip on Thursday 8/24 at 6:30 in room E125 or see Senorita Phelps for more info.

The National Science Honor Society will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7:50 am in Mrs. Glover's room; H-112. If you would like to run for office come prepared with a brief speech.

Attention all returning Habitat for Humanity members! The first meeting of the year is Tuesday, August 22nd at 7:45 in Mrs. Jones' room (G108). We hope to see you there!

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of fly fishing? Do you enjoy the scenery of a river? Then the fly fishing club is for you. Come to an informational meeting Tuesday, August 22nd in room D111 to learn what it's all about.

TAG Registration FOR GRADES 10-12 ONLY will open on Thursday August 17th. Please sign up for a TAG seminar during lunch in room B107 or online at www.roswelltag.wikispaces.com. Seminar classes start Tuesday August 22nd during study halls.

Varsity Volleyball went to their first tournament on Saturday. The team had a strong showing beating Lee County, Peachtree Ridge, Northside, and crosstown rival Milton. The girls lost to Lambert in the semi-finals. The team has their first area match up at home on Tuesday at 5:30 against the Etowah Eagles. Please come out and support your Hornets volleyball team!
