TAG registration for spring semester seminars is now open!  Please go to www.roswelltag.wikispaces.com or come to B107 during lunch to register.  All seminar classes will begin next Tuesday January 17th


Students, please remember you need to check in the Media Tech Center TODAY if you are interested in representing RHS by entering a project in the 16th Annual FCS Technology Competition.  The information was shared with you in December and this week. The Technology Competition will be held on Saturday, January 28 at Centennial High School and entrants will be assigned specific times for their technology entries. Interested students need to check with Ms. Swearingen in the Media Tech Center TODAY to verify your entry and check on required signed documents.  Let's keep our strong tradition going and send more great technology students to BOTH  COMPETITIONS

All SkillsUSA Officers and any members competing in the Region Competition coming up next week should meet in Ms. L Kennedy's room tomorrow morning at 7:45 to receive information and paper work. 


There will be a Model UN meeting on Thursday, January 12th at 7:55 in room F101.  New members are welcome. We will be discussing Arab League conference.


The Interact Club is collecting supplies and letters for the platoon of Roswell High School alumni, Harrison Florence, Class of 2010.  He graduated from West Point in 2014.  Second Lieutenant Florence is currently deployed at Camp Humphreys in the Korean Theatre of Operations and serving as the Attack Platoon Leader of Bravo Company, 4-2 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade.  Please bring hand-written letters for Harrison and his platoon and the following supplies:  sugarless chewing gum, energy bars, small packages of coffee, throat lozenges, lip balm, beef jerky, paper, pens, envelopes and all types of toiletries to Coach Chrzanowski's room F108 and place in the box. Please help us honor one of our own by bringing in these supplies and letters no later than Friday, January 27.



Attention Seniors: Project 9/11 honor cords are in Mrs. Boyd's room, F114. If you earned an honor cord, come by before or after school to pick yours up this week.


Winterguard Students: If you were planning on riding the sweep bus, please see Mr. Moon during your lunch or study hall.


For Short Attention Span Theatre, your short plays or monologues are due no later than Thursday, January 19.  Please submit your work in Microsoft word format to Ms. Ogle.  Early submissions are welcome.


Do you want to start 2017 off on the right foot? Are you feeling stressed about beginning a new semester?  Maybe you just want to try something new!  Meditation is being offered again this semester in the auditorium during C and D lunches on Wednesday.  You may also come during your study hall during C and D with teacher permission.  Come see what it's all about!

The United States Naval Academy will be visiting our students this week. If you would like to attend, please sign up through Student Services.


The school store has a new location! We are now in the auditorium concession area and are open every morning from 7:45-8:15.




Tonight Roswell basketball hosts Etowah in the Hornets' Nest for a pair of big region games.  The girls tip at 6:00, boys at 7:30.


Get there early to get your spot in the Rowdeez section as the front row will fill up fast! We Are Roswell!!!


All tennis forms are due by Jan. 20th and boys try outs have been moved to Monday Jan. 23rd – Wednesday Jan. 25th from 4-6 here at RHS.

Girls try outs are Monday Jan 30th and Tuesday Jan. 31st. For any questions or forms, go see Coach Shackelford in potable 2.



If you are planning participating in track and field and have not filled out your paperwork, please see Coach Schultz or come by the AP offices to scan the QR code.  Conditioning will continue all week and official practice starts on Jan 17th.  If you are in a winter sport but plan on participating make sure you also scan the code.


There will be a meeting for all girl's interested in playing golf this year on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:50 am in PE 07. Please be on time as physicals and paper work will be discussed. If you have any question please contact Coach Baumgarten.
