Attention students – If you have a parking space on campus you will lose your on campus parking privileges after 7 unexcused tardies to school. This is for the school year and does not reset at the end of the semester. If you exceed the 7 unexcused tardy limit, you will lose your parking space.
The African American Culture Club will meet Monday, Jan. 23 after school in G122.
TAG registration for spring semester seminars is now open! Please go to www.roswelltag.wikispaces.com or come to B107 during lunch to register. All seminar classes will begin next Tuesday January 17th.
The Interact Club is collecting supplies and letters for the platoon of Roswell High School alumni, Harrison Florence, Class of 2010. He graduated from West Point in 2014. Second Lieutenant Florence is currently deployed at Camp Humphreys in the Korean Theatre of Operations and serving as the Attack Platoon Leader of Bravo Company, 4-2 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade. Please bring hand-written letters for Harrison and his platoon and the following supplies: sugarless chewing gum, energy bars, small packages of coffee, throat lozenges, lip balm, beef jerky, paper, pens, envelopes and all types of toiletries to Coach Chrzanowski's room F108 and place in the box. Please help us honor one of our own by bringing in these supplies and letters no later than Friday, January 27.
Attention Seniors: Project 9/11 honor cords are in Mrs. Boyd's room, F114. If you earned an honor cord, come by before or after school to pick yours up this week.
For Short Attention Span Theatre, your short plays or monologues are due no later than Thursday, January 19. Please submit your work in Microsoft word format to Ms. Ogle. Early submissions are welcome.
If you received an invitation for leadership 20/20 before break but did not complete the google information, please see Coach Schultz in the AP office this week during your lunch for more information.
The school store has a new location! We are now in the auditorium concession area and are open every morning from 7:45-8:15.
Congrats to the Varsity boys who beat Etowah 57-46 last night to maintain 1st place in the region. The boys have won 11 of their last 12 and go to Woodstock tonight for another big Region game!
Soccer tryouts are next week. On Monday the boys will have tryouts from 12-2 and the girls from 3-6. The rest of the week the boys and girls will have tryouts after school from 4-6. Remember you must have a current physical on file to participate.
All tennis forms are due by Jan. 20th and boys try outs have been moved to Monday Jan. 23rd – Wednesday Jan. 25th from 4-6 here at RHS.
Girls try outs are Monday Jan 30th and Tuesday Jan. 31st. For any questions or forms, go see Coach Shackelford in potable 2.
If you are planning participating in track and field and have not filled out your paperwork, please see Coach Schultz or come by the AP offices to scan the QR code. Conditioning will continue all week and official practice starts on Jan 17th. If you are in a winter sport but plan on participating make sure you also scan the code.
There will be a meeting for all girl's interested in playing golf this year on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:50 am in PE 07. Please be on time as physicals and paper work will be discussed. If you have any question please contact Coach Baumgarten.
