Spanish students... COME GET SOME HELP! (said enthusiastically!) National Spanish Honor Society has peer tutoring from 7:45am-8:15am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in E114.

We are looking for students who would be willing to be a part of our morning announcement team for the second semester of the school year. If you would like to be one of the voices that starts our day, please pick up an application from the front office. Applications are due 4:00 PM on January 18, 2018.

Spring semester TAG seminars are beginning the week of Tuesday January 16th. Check out www.roswelltag.wikispaces.com to register or to check your class time/location. 

Attention Seniors...If you have not paid senior dues you will have to order your cap and gown directly from Balfour. Please go to gabalfour.com to place your order. Deadline is February 28th and the cost is $65. 

You can still be in this year's production of Legally Blonde! If you missed the auditions or didn't have enough time to make the full rehearsal schedule there may still be a part for you. We are looking for 10-12 extras who have cheering or marching experience to be in the Elle's Essay Scene. We are also looking for a few good men who can perform walk on parts with no singing requirement. Come by the Chorus Room before school or during D lunch to see the rehearsal schedule and talk with Mrs. Williams. 

Attention SAST playwrights and monologue writers. Your 10 minute play or short monologue for Short Attention Span Theatre must be submitted to Ms. Ogle by Tuesday, January 16, 2018, before 8 p.m. Your manuscript must be submitted as a Word or Google Document. If you have questions see Ms. Ogle before or after school this week. Use play script format and good grammar and spelling. Thanks! 

The second semester Sweep Bus will start on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 

Track and field practice will start Tuesday January 16 at 4pm. You must have a current physical and concussion form to attend. Please turn in all forms to Coach Dugan in H102. Have questions? Email Coach Evans or Coach Dugan for answers or stop by F128 or H102. 

There will be a meeting for all girl's interested in playing golf this spring on Wednesday January 17th in PE06 at 7:50 am. Try out information will be discussed. If you have any questions please see Coach Baumgarten. 

Congratulations to the Fencing Team for hosting an excellent tournament. Our own fencer, Brandon Yang played the national anthem. Points were earned by several fencers and Margaret Lowenstein won a bronze medal. The following fencers qualify for the state individual championship on January 27th: Jay Parcelewicz, Brandon Yang, Chris Arndall, Stas Barber, Margaret Lowenstein, Salma Repole, and Whitney Williams. A special “thank you” goes out to Ally Williams and the National Honor Society who provided eight students to help out at Saturday’s tournament. Congratulations fencers and thank you NHS!
