On Saturday October 14 there will be a mandatory wrestling weight assessment at Blessed Trinity at 11am. All athletes planning on wrestling this season should meet at RHS at 10:30am to ride bus to BT. Please wear t-shirt shorts and tennis shoes, be adequately hydrated and bring $10. We will return immediately after assessment. 

Roswell will be hosting Music Fest in the Nest this Saturday night from 8-11pm on the practice field. There will be a DJ, glow paint, snack trucks and giveaways. Wristbands are $25 or $20 if you've paid class dues prior to the event and $30 at the door. See a student council member for more info or the front office if you need a guest form. 

Colleges continue to roll through Roswell! Come talk to reps from App State, Rice, California College of Arts, Georgia College, the University of Alabama and more! Sign up in Student Services. 

Do you want to be in a play? Come audition for "A Wrinkle in Time" presented by the RHS Theatre Troupe. Auditions are Tuesday, October 10 and Thursday, October 12 from 4:15 to 5:45 in the Auditorium. Theatre Troupe and Improv Troupe members, you'll already be there for your regular meetings! All are welcome. You will be asked to do cold reading and some improvisation. More details at auditions. 

Are you outgoing, energetic, positive, and diligent, then Roswell Girls Basketball wants you! We are looking for two managers to complete our dynamic team of managers. If you are interested in joining our dynamic team of managers, meet Coach Holby and Coach Wade in the gym after school on October 12 at 4:00 pm. 

Please join us for meditation this Thursday. We meet in E-103 during B study hall and E-105 during C study hall. Anyone is welcome to attend. 

Lots of people work out their bodies, but lots of people forget to work out their mind. If you're a freshman or sophomore, there is hope. Come by Mr. Carter's room, D110, on Wednesdays after-school for JV Academic Bowl, and get your mind in shape. 

The Hornet Construction Technology class will be hosting a student/parent night from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 10th beginning in the auditorium. Meet with technical colleges, construction companies, apprenticeship programs, and many others who are ready to employ you. All are welcome to attend! Come see what hire (H.I.R.E.) education is about. 

Congratulations to Senior volleyball setter, Megan Hallahan on breaking the school records for most assists in a single season and most career assists. Megan has made over 1000 assists this year and will continue with the varsity volleyball team in the state playoffs on Wednesday, October 11th.
