If you're a freshman or sophomore, there is hope. Come by Mr. Carter's room, D110, on Wednesdays after-school for JV Academic Bowl, and get your
mind in shape.
The Hornet Construction Technology class will be hosting a student/parent night from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 10th beginning in the
auditorium. Meet with technical colleges, construction companies, apprenticeship programs, and many others who are ready to employ you. All are
welcome to attend! Come see what hire (H.I.R.E.) education is about.
Seniors - Do you need help with writing your college essays or filling out your application? There will be a College Essay and Application Workshop in
Room B107 during the PSAT Test Day, October 11, beginning at 8:20. There is space for 25 students. Please sign up in Student Services by Friday
Its National Yearbook Week, and to celebrate your Yearbook staff is having a competition. If you purchase your yearbook from now until Friday night, you

The October 6th Varsity Football game at Lassiter High School has been scheduled as their annual PINK OUT game to raise awareness for Breast
Cancer Research. At this game, the Lassiter student section will be wearing pink t-shirts to raise awareness about Breast Cancer. Lassiter welcomes all
Roswell High School students to join them in this campaign by wearing PINK shirts. Additionally, Lassiter wants to partner with Roswell High School
students in bringing awareness to suicide prevention. Their Sources of Strength organization at Lassiter High School will be promoting this awareness
through the tossing of purple confetti during the first kick-off. Lassiter High School will provide confetti for the student section for Roswell High School.
The Roswell High School Step Team will be having try-outs this Thursday, October 5th, from 3:45 to 5:00 in PE06.
Seniors - If you plan to make a college visit on PSAT Day, October 11, you must turn your parent note into the Attendance Office by Wednesday, October
4. Make sure that they are in by that date.

The Theatre Tech meeting for Legally Blonde is Wednesday, October 4th, in the chorus room from 3:45 to 4:45. In order to work backstage on the
musical, be sure to bring your forms and your check for $60 if you have not turned them in yet. Also, be ready to share your technical theatre or other
relevant experience you may have.
Attention all Tri-M Members. We will have our first meeting this Thursday, October 5 in the orchestra room at 7:30am. Please bring your $25.00 dues to
the meeting and be on time!

Huge congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team as they defeated Woodstock yesterday 3-1 in the first round of the Region Tournament. This means
the team has qualified for the 7A State Volleyball Tournament! The Region Tournamnet continues today against Walton at 5:30 at Etowah.
This evening the Roswell Band will perform its Fall Concert at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. Please come out and enjoy some great music.
