It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Roswell High School. In my 28 years as an educator, I have not worked at a better school than Roswell High. It is my desire to create an atmosphere of teaching and learning that will benefit students, staff members, parents, and the community. Having been an assistant principal at RHS for four years, I knew that I would be returning as principal to a school that was the pulse of the Roswell community. Our students are heavily involved in extra curricular activities including clubs, organizations and community service programs, as well as athletics. There are opportunities for every student to become involved in and connect to the school. It is not uncommon to have students transfer to RHS from every region in the United States or come here as foreign exchange students. Everyone who enters our doors is embraced as a valuable member of our school community, and when they graduate and walk out those doors, they leave with a bit of Roswell spirit and pride. Whether it is our excellence in academics (high SAT scores, extensive AP course offerings) or athletics (2012 girls tennis state championship!), RHS will continue to soar not only in Fulton County and the state, but also in the country.
As I write this message, we are anticipating more than 2300 students to enter our hallways in August. We are excited to face the challenge of reaching our students who need extra support at the same time we continue our tradition of academic excellence. Our teachers are ready and willling to help all students reach their academic goals.
Again, welcome to Roswell High and to the Roswell Community.
