Attention Juniors and Seniors! Thursday September 8, The National Guard will be presenting a college briefing on Thursday in the Counselor’s Career Center from 10:30 – 11:30. Please sign up in the Counselor’s Office to hear about your chance to lock in scholarship and financial opportunities for you college future.

The Rifle team represents the school in the Olympic sport of riflery. Anyone interested in participating in Rifle please meet Thursday immediately after school at Portable #6 (Where JROTC classes are.) This is an initial meeting to make contact with potential interested athletes and give out some initial information. If you are interested and cannot make it look for flyers that will be put our around the school and will have an email where you can get information.
Students, this is your chance to nominate someone for Homecoming Court who you feel deserves this honor. We are looking for students who are great representatives of Roswell and our community. Look for student council members and nomination boxes in the Cafeteria during all lunches!
The RHS JROTC Hornet Battalion has begun their annual gourmet cheesecake fundraiser, there are a wide variety of cheese cakes, pies, cookies, and delicious treats to choose from. Please ask a cadet to make a purchase or for more information and support our JROTC program!!

Seniors: The deadline for having your formal picture taken with Cady Studios for the yearbook has been extended until September 30 th . If you still need to book your appointment please do so at www.cadystudios.com. If you do not have your formal picture taken with Cady, you will not be included in the yearbook. Information about casual photos is forthcoming.

The National English Honor Society is now accepting applications from sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and at least a 3.0 GPA in their English classes. Applications are outside D-110 and you can ask questions to Ms. Sellman. Applications are due on September 7 th .

Purchase your flag from any Chorus member or see Mrs. B Williams in room A 106 before or after school. There is a sample Car Flag in the Chorus Display on the Main Hallway. TAG registration for 9 th grade students will occur on Wednesday Sept 7th. Please come down to the auditorium on that day during your study hall to find out what high school TAG is all about!
The school store has a new location! We are now in the auditorium concession
area and are open every morning from 7:45-8:15. Students, be sure to stop by
each morning to pick up your school supplies, spirit wear and snacks!
The softball team will take on Cherokee today. Varsity starts at 5:00 and JV
will follow. The varsity team will also take on Lassiter on Thursday at 5:30.
