Seniors - Do you need help with writing your college essays or filling out your application? There will be a College Essay and Application Workshop in Room B107 during the PSAT Test Day, October 11, beginning at 8:20. There is space for 25 students. Please sign up in Student Services by Friday October 6. 

Students, this is a reminder that RHS is a closed campus. You are not permitted to leave campus without signing out through the Attendance Office. We do not accept any drop-offs (from parents, food delivery services, etc). During your lunch period, you are to report to the cafeteria or media center. Outside areas are off limits for students not supervised by their classroom teacher. Seniors, you need to do a better job cleaning up behind yourselves in the pavilion. We will close the pavilion if this continues to be a problem. 

Attention Seniors - Wednesday, Oct 11 is PST Day for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. This day is a great day for seniors to schedule a college visit. Please make sure that your paperwork for the college visit is turned into the Attendance Office by Wednesday, October 4th. The college visit form must be pre-approved. 

Express Your Creativity! Be a Part of PTA’s Reflections Contest! This year’s Reflection program theme is “Within Reach” Tell your story through dance, a short film, a poem or story, an original song, a photo or visual work of art. Bring your entry to the Front Office by September 29th. 

There will be a meeting for all baseball players on Thursday, September 28th, at 7:50 in room G 127. Physicals are due the same day. See you then! 

Attention All Students: The 2017 RHS Club Fair will take place on Wednesday, September 27 on the gymnasium track during all lunches. If you're thinking about joining a club, plan to attend the Club Fair on Wednesday, September 27 to see what RHS has to offer. 

AVID Students- you're invited to AVID Parent Night in the Media Center, Sept. 27th from 6:30 to 8! Bring a sweet treat to share with your family and friends while you show off all of your hard work! 

There will be a wrestling informational meeting for new wrestlers, trainers and all parents on Monday Sept. 25 at 7pm in the RHS media Center. Please be sure each family is represented at the meeting. See Coach Bradach with any questions. 

Attention all baseball players interested in trying out for the baseball team this year. There will be a PARENT meeting on Monday, September 25th, at 7pm in the media center. If you want to try out, go home and actually have a conversation with your parent and let them know about this meeting! 

Hornets Help Houston! The Roswell JROTC Hornet Battalion will be conducting a diaper drive to collect Diapers to help the families affected by Hurricane Harvey. Look for flyers in the Hallways or ask a JROTC Cadet how you can help. There will be boxes for dropping off diapers in the Atrium, by the Gym or you can stop by Portable #5. Help us Help Houston! 

Princeton Review is again offering discounted ACT/SAT prep classes for Roswell students. Classes start soon and meet after school and Saturdays at RHS. Pick up an enrollment flier from Student Services. 

The Fulton County Marching Band Exhibition is this Saturday at Cambridge High School @ 5:45 P.M. Roswell will performing be at 7:50 P.M. Please come out and support your Hornets and all the other bands in Fulton County. #we swarm together 

Attention Juniors and Seniors - Your campus parking will be revoked if you receive 7 unexcused tardies to school. Traffic and weather are not considered excuses for being tardy. Leave home early enough to arrive on campus before 8:20 so that you are on time to school. 

Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade Students. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 11 from 8:20-12:30. You will report to your advisement that morning and the location of your advisement may have changed due to testing. There will be posters put up in the hallways the morning of the PSAT. Please remember to bring 2 number 2 pencils with you. More information will be forthcoming in the following weeks. 

There will be a meeting for all interested wrestlers and trainers this Friday at 8am in room PE04. Especially looking for 2 sophomore and freshmen trainers and wrestlers under 130lbs. Biscuits provided to first 10 attendees! 

Colleges and universities continue to roll into Roswell! Use the QR code in Student Services to sign up to attend a visit. Coming soon: Auburn, Middle Georgia State, College of Charleston, Georgia State, California Arts School of Film and Syracuse, just to name a few. 

Come out and support the Roswell Fencing Team as they compete against 5 other schools this Saturday. The tournament will be held at Pope High School from 8:30-4. Admission is free! Good luck Hornet Fencers! 

Attention Seniors who helped with Project 911: If you either helped with the set-up or take-down of the flags you have earned an honor cord! Please submit your attendance form and $10 to Mrs. Boyd in F114 next week. Thank you for all your help! 

Students will report to Advisement this Friday, September 22 from 11:15 - 11:25 for distribution of 6-wk progress reports. 1st - 3rd periods will be shortened briefly. 

Attention Students who purchased an All Athletic Pass. You may come to the front office during lunches today and tomorrow to pick up your athletic pass card.

Legally Blonde auditions begin Monday, September 25th! Please turn in your audition packet to Mrs. Williams by Friday, September 22nd to sign up for an audition time. Audition times are being assigned on a first come first served basis. Those interested in Crew and Orchestra should also turn in their audition information by the 22nd. If you missed the informational meeting it's not too late! You can still be a part of this year's show. Pick up your packet from Mrs. E Williams in A 106 or Mrs. Ogle in the Auditorium. 

Are you feeling stressed out? Would you like to spend half an hour relaxing? Do you need tools you can use in moments of frustration? Meditation is for you! Please join us for half an hour of meditation Thursday during B or C study hall or lunch in Room E-103 and E-105. Anyone is welcome! These sessions will be held every Thursday for the rest of the school year. 

Do you enjoy trivia? Are you excited by the idea of a battle of the minds? Are you a freshman or sophomore? JV Academic Bowl needs you! Come by D110 on Wednesday, September 20th after school for more information. 

Underclass picture day has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, September 20th. You will get pictures taken during your English class. If you are taking an English class online, please take your picture during lunch in the gym. If you want to pre-order pictures, visit cadystudios.com. 

Project 9/11 is collecting donations for the Roswell Fire and Police Fund. This money will be donated to help first responders in the Roswell area. We do this to honor the first responders who saved so many lives and in some instances sacrificed their own lives on September 11th, 2001. Please donate in all your 1st period Social Studies classes until Wednesday, September 20th.

SkillsUSA will meet on Thursday September 21 in Room AA21 at 7:45. All members should plan to attend. 

Congratulations to Mr. Bryan for being selected as the Roswell Football Teacher of the Week for this week’s home-opener against Archer High School. Thank you, Mr. Bryan for all you do for Roswell High School. 

Students TODAY is the last day to nominate someone for Homecoming Court. Find the student council reps in the cafeteria with the boxes and make your voice heard. 

The Roswell Frisbee Club will be meeting this afternoon after school on the band practice field! Both girls and boys are invited to join! Even if you've never played before please come out and learn how. Ultimate Frisbee is a fun Club alternative to get outside and play! See you after school today!
