Request For Flexibility (for the 2015-2016 school year)
Our School Governance Council (SGC) is considering submitting a Request For Flexibility (RFF) for next school year and wants your input! Please take a few minutes to read the proposed RFF and provide us with your feedback on the RFF Comment Form.
From November 13th through December 13th we will have our Public Comment period for parents and all Crabapple stakeholders to provide feedback on this proposed request. You can submit your feedback on the RFF Comment Form through email (email@example.com), drop it off in the Public Comment box at our front desk, or come share it in person at 6:00 PM on December 9, 2014.
The RFF asks for 3 additional days of Professional Development focusing on TAG Certification and Project Based Learning training (including technology integration). Tentative dates are September 4 in 2015 and February 16 & April 1 in 2016. Please see attached proposed Fulton Schools Calendar. This calendar has not been finalized as it still needs to be voted on by the School Board, but we are sharing it to help you see how the potential training days may fit with the proposed schedule.
Also, please feel free to contact any of our SGC with any questions (visit our SGC Page) and we'll do our best to explain this RFF and how we believe it will help us be successful in achieving our Strategic Plan.
Thank you for your participation in this process!
