The course registration process for 2017-18. This afternoon students will receive paperwork that lists teacher recommendations for core content subjects. To help make decisions about the courses your child will take, I recommend that you refer to our Registration Guide/Course Catalog posted on the school webpage. The FCS placement guidelines are also available as a reference for you on our webpage under Helpful Documents. You may pose specific course registration questions about your child to: email@example.com between now and April 21.
If your child is considering taking an AP or honor-level course next year or if you are interested in Move On When Ready options, please make plans to attend AP/Honors/MOWR information night this Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Gym. You will hear directly from RHS teachers about course requirements and expectations. College representatives will be here to share information about Move On When Ready.
If you want your child to take any virtual courses next school year through Georgia Virtual or Fulton Virtual, you must make that request now during the Spring registration process. You will be held to your request, and not allowed to change from face-to-face to virtual or vice versa later. The option to choose virtual courses is explained on the paperwork coming home with your child today.
Completed forms are due back to your child's advisement teacher this Friday morning, February 24.
