Camp Jumpstart August 1st

WHAT: Are you worried about lockers, lunch, or lessons? Join your 6th grade teachers and administrators for a "run through" of being a middle school student.

WHEN: Thursday, August 1st from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

WHERE: Holcomb Bridge Middle School

COST: $10.00 per student (includes lunch, t-shirt, and HBMS bag)

***Price does NOT include the locker fee. However, students attending Camp Jump Start will be given priority for a top locker ***

The Fulton County Nutrition Department recognizes the important role that school meals play in combating childhood hunger. All children 18 years and younger can enjoy a meal free at Holcomb Bridge on the days and times listed above. Children do not have to be currently enrolled students in Fulton County Schools to participate. Meals are free to children in the community.

Holcomb Bridge Middle is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian and family member of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. TAG Screening and Referral Process

The consideration for gifted services may be reported or automatic as defined by the GaDOE Resource Manual for Gifted Education Services. The Fulton County School System screens all students for eligibility for gifted services twice a year. Fulton County uses a systematic approach to identify highly capable students who may qualify for gifted services. Please review the following documents for further information.

HOME ACCESS CENTER (HAC)

When you are viewing grades in the Home Access Center, please pay attention to the drop down window that allows you to choose which "run" you would like to view. Please be sure to select "All Runs" if you want to see the average for the semester. If you choose "1" or "2," it will only calculate the grade for that grading period. Since grades for non-Connections courses are calculated by semester, not quarter, "All Runs" will give you the correct average.
