Mrs. Manganelli is a native of North Carolina and moved to Georgia in 2000. She graduated from Elon University in 1999 with a degree in Middle Grades education with a focus in social studies and math. Mrs. Manganelli spent a year teaching for Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools before moving to Georgia and teaching for 5 years at Webb Bridge Middle where she taught 6th and 7th grade math and social studies. Mrs. Manganelli joined the staff of Hopewell in the fall of 2005 as a 7th grade social studies teacher. In the fall of 2006 she moved to the 8th grade where she taught Georgia Studies.

In her time here at Hopewell Mrs. Manganelli has served as the social studies department chair and the 8th grade chair. In 2018 she transitioned into her role as Administrative Assistant. In this role she is responsible for all testing, is the TAG department chair, and oversees the safety plan for the school.

Mrs. Manganelli thinks that all students can learn but at different rates and in different ways. She feels all students can be successful if they are given the right tools to build their success. In her current role she is excited to work with teachers and students to help them all meet their goals for success and achievement.
