Mr. Quraishy has been in education for over a decade and has worked closely with the Fulton County Schools community for ten years.  He previously taught at Chattahoochee High School where he served in the areas of Special Education teacher, Social Studies Teacher, and for his last two years served in the role of Graduation Coach.  He was also the Head Girls' Basketball Coach for five years where they made an Elite Eight and multiple state playoff appearances. 

He is originally from Lilburn, Georgia and attended Meadowcreek High School where he played basketball and baseball.  Shortly after that he attended Georgia State University where he received his degree in History and Sociology.  Furthermore, he obtained his Masters' Degree and recently received his Specialist Degree in Leadership from Columbus State University. 

Mr. Quraishy is incredibly passionate about building positive student relationships to help young men and women achieve life-long goals.  He believes that the profession of education is rare in that you can have a life-long impact on every child that you interact with.    

Mr. Quraishy enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He has two young daughters and has been married to his wife Saira for ten years.  Mr. Quraishy is thrilled with the opportunity to serve the Hopewell Community!
