I am changing the date to our parent coffee to Tuesday, February 24th. Turnout seems to be higher when it’s not held on a Tuesday after a long weekend! The parent coffees have become a great venue to have informal discussion about any issues or concerns parents may have, in addition to ask questions as well as to hear about what is happening at Northwestern. We hope to see our parents there at 8:10am on February 24th.
Ms. Tucker’s husband has been relocated to Dallas, Texas which sadly means for us that Ms. Tucker will also be moving! We wish her all the best as she begins another adventure in Texas. Thank you to Ms. Tucker for all that you have done for our Northwestern students.
Race Coming Up!
Our 2nd annual 5km race is coming up – Saturday, March 14th. All proceeds go to the Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and last year we were able to donate $10,4471.32! We are looking for your support again this year so if you or your company would be interested in sponsoring our race, please see the sponsorship form on this week's newsletter. If you have any questions, you can contact Coach H. We look forward to seeing you all at the race! You can register for the race through www.active.com.
